Amy Roloff is Engaged

Congratulations to the newly engaged Amy Roloff! Boyfriend (now fiancé) Chris Marek proposed to the Little People, Big World star Wednesday night, one day after Roloff’s birthday, at one of the couple's favorite restaurants.

“I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” Amy told People.com. “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.”

Adds Marek, “I was very nervous! It had to be a heart shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted.”

Chris and Amy's courtship was covered on recent seasons of Little People, Big World, where the two met at a pool party, had a first date on the back of Chris' motorcycle, and soon fell in love.

"I think after divorce, I always hoped that maybe I’d have that second opportunity to not only be in love but also marry again," explained Amy in the video above. Amy's divorce with first husband Matt Roloff was finalized in 2016.

"Believe it or not I would probably be more lowkey," she said about her impending wedding. "It's more about having the people be there you want to be there, to celebrate with you, to witness what the two of us are doing together."
