Pep's Bread (Olive and Artichoke Bruschetta)
A family-favorite recipe from Grandma Foxy of Unpolished.
1 loaf garlic bread (store-bought or pre-made)
1 jar of sliced black olives, drained
6 fresh tomatoes, chopped
1 jar of marinated artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
3-6 tablespoons of olive oil
- Put store-bought garlic bread into a preheated oven for 5-10 minutes, according to package instructions.
- While the bread bakes, in a bowl mix marinated artichoke, sliced black olives and diced tomato.
- Once it has browned, remove the garlic bread from the oven and top it with an even amount of the olive / artichoke heart mixture.
- Evenly drizzle olive oil on top of the bread and vegetable mixture to taste.
- Slice and serve.
