How to Turn Pressed Flowers into a Pretty, Temporary Tattoo

Release your inner flower child with DIY body art dried flower tattoos!

Temporary tattoos may feel like something you outgrew years ago, but this pretty floral version from PopSugar's Beauty Junkie proves otherwise. The intricate design is created from pressed flowers bonded to your skin with eyelash glue; then set with a hairdryer and hairspray. Though the blooms aren't permanent, the test blogger reports that they stayed on for two days (and even after she showered).

Pressing flowers yourself is easy, so if your garden is thriving then you can customize your look precisely by harvesting what's in your own backyard. But if homegrown isn't an option, you can also buy pressed flowers in bulk from online distributors and craft stores (we found 25-piece variety packs in coordinating colors for $3.75 and 50-piece for $6.50). Try wearing a bracelet of blossoms to your next summer wedding, a scattering on your shoulder for a daytime concert, or a few pink blooms around your ankle for your It's-a-Girl baby shower.
