If you and your honey are looking for a romantic date night together to celebrate Valentine’s Day, look no further than the comfort of your home. Since it’s the sweetest day of the year, a normal night of just hanging out in your pajamas and eating leftovers simply will not do. So order pizza for the kids and send them to bed early because we’re sharing all the ways to transform date night at home into a romantic Valentine’s Day date for two.

Get Creative Together: Embrace your artistic side or just pretend like you are artistic as you spend the evening painting together. You take one side and your partner takes the other side. With step-by-step directions and all the supplies you need to create your masterpiece, turn your Valentine’s date into a work of art.

Make it a Spa Night: You and your partner can unwind and relax in your very own spa. Transform your bathroom into a relaxing and romantic spa by bringing in candles and offering up fluffy robes and towels. Pro tip--toss the robes and the towels in the dryer for a few minutes so they are warm and cozy. Then draw a bath with relaxing essential oils and have a basket near the tub that is filled with bath bombs, bath oils or heart-shaped soaps. Then you can exchange massages and foot rubs while you relax and bask in comfort of your at-home spa.

Fondue For Two: From dipping fruit and cookies in melted chocolate to veggies and crackers in melted cheese, Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse for a little fondue for two. Start with sweet or savory or both for a romantic and delicious treat.

Dynamic Duo in the Kitchen: Skip takeout and instead make a delicious meal together. Try an online cooking class for two so that you can flirt your way through appetizers, snuggle during the entree, and share a few kisses during dessert. There are tons of online cooking classes to choose from like Sur La Table and Cozy Meal.

Make it a Theme Night: Have some from with this holiday and your date night by giving your plans a theme. From Movie Theme Night to Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate, we’ve got some inspiration for your date night at home.

Sweet Treats: Don’t forget Valentine's Day staples like flowers and chocolate. Since you’ll be enjoying this holiday at home, choose sweet treats you both can enjoy, like delicious Godiva chocolate or dessert from your favorite restaurant.

Try Your Hand at Mixology: No need to sip on your usual wine or beer, as a couple, make a few drinks that are perfect for Valentine’s Day. How about a chocolate whiskey martini or a chocolate kiss cocktail to share with your special Valentine.
