Mariah Brown was joined by her mom Meri, Janelle, and a group of her closest friends for the Women's March on Washington.

So thrilled and excited to be a part of this incredible event, they took some time to share with us their feelings about the monumental gathering in the nation's capital.

They were just a few of the millions gathered around the world for similar events -- one which they said was "a positive and empowering space for people of all identities."
