Have a better month!

Many of us set goals to accomplish big tasks like getting a new job or losing weight. We often set life-long goals, yearly goals and even monthly goals of tangible things we wish to accomplish. One health blogger, Lee From America, has started a new trend on her Instagram of setting monthly intentions. These small tasks set an intention for the entire month of something you want to do. Maybe you want to go outside for 15 minutes a day, spend less time on your phone or be nicer to yourself. Whatever it is, make each month have a purpose that will make you complete small goals to make your life better.

At the beginning of each month, take a few moments to realize what you want to focus on this month. Maybe you want to focus on patience or self-love. Set as many intentions as you would like! You could set 1 or 5, as long as you're working towards it every day. This is the perfect way to reset each month and reflect on what you have done and where you want to go. Making monthly intentions, breaks your yearly goals down into smaller, more achievable tasks.

You can even make this a monthly tradition with your friends! At the end of each month you can meet up and discuss how your month went and what you wish to accomplish next. This is a great way to keep in touch with your friends throughout the month. Having friends to talk to about your goals will ensure that you have a support and accountability system. You can keep in touch with your friends throughout the process and support them in whatever intentions they are working on!

Not only will you find yourself being more productive, you will feel happier and more fulfilled. This sounds like an amazing habit to make. We challenge you to make your own monthly intentions! Let us know what your monthly intentions are in the comments or on Twitter @TLCmeNow!
